Community Health Needs Assessment for Milwaukee County - We shared information and experiences with the Health Department (Milwaukee & Wisconsin) on the Rohingya health service agenda, if partnerships exist between Rohingya/Rohingya CBO’s, and questions on Health agencies performance and efficacy serving Rohingya health needs.

InPower and HealthyMKE Panel at the American Black Holocaust Museum - Reflection Forward Panel featured and highlighted ten Milwaukee individuals and their experience with: healthcare, life during the pandemic, perspective on the vaccine, and hope for the future of our community. Through a 2-hour, 4 part panel discussion, these individuals will share their unique stories, have authentic discussions, and ultimately share within a group setting.

Report Launch and Panel - Discussing “Torture in My Mind”: The Right to Mental Health for Rohingya Survivors of Genocide in Myanmar and Bangladesh,” exposing a severe and protracted mental health crisis among Rohingya survivors. Providing new quantitative evidence of the mental-health toll of genocide, human rights violations, and violence on Rohingya refugees, including extraordinarily high rates of post-traumatic stress that far exceed U.N. expected rates during emergencies.
